In recent weeks, the world has been shocked by a wave of thousands Myanmar refugees. They are Rohingya Muslims who occupied Arakan region or Rakhine State, who are expelled due to prolonged conflict in the region. The European Rohingya Council (ERC) on August 28, 2017 released the report, about 2,000 to 3,000 Rohingyas were killed in an Arakan attack that occurred for three days. A massive exodus occurred. In Indonesia alone there are about 12,000 Rohingya refugees who still survive in Aceh, North Sumatra and other provinces.
The conflict is synonymous with the SARA (ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group) issue, not only involving Myanmar’s military junta but also the interference of Zionist Israel. This is based on the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz that said that the Israeli Defense Ministry is still desperate to sell its weaponry to Myanmar, which has been used by the military junta to conduct ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims. Among the arms and heavy equipment sold to Myanmar are 100 tanks and patrol boats for the border, as quoted by middleeasteye.net
In September 2015, it was reported that a high-ranking military junta, General Min Aung Hlaing, visited Israel for arms spending. He met with military officials including the Israeli army chief of staff. The Israeli Defense Ministry then made a return visit to Myanmar in the summer of 2015.
Ofer Noman, a human rights activist of Israeli occupation region, even said that the weapons that Israel sold to the Myanmar regime were a weapon commonly used by Israel to confront the Palestinians. The weapon has been used by Israel as an opportunity to test.
Not just armaments, in August 2016, the TAR Ideal Concepts website, an Israeli defense equipment and weapons company published a photo of them training Myanmar’s elite forces using Israeli Corner Shot rifles. The special forces are now stationed in the Arakan conflict area. Though many parties are criticizing the sale of such weapons, both from the United States and the European Union. But as usual, it has always be heeded by Israel.
The sale of these weapons reinforces an indication of Zionist Israel’s support for Myanmar’s military actions that perpetrated a massacre of Rohingyas. For occupiers like Israel, playing in conflict areas that engage in human rights violations are not unfamiliar. Palestine is conclusive evidence, Israel has been expelling the Palestinians since 1948. Expelling Palestinians from their homeland, leveling houses, demolishing mosques, arresting Palestinians, detaining and torturing them.
There was the Nakba in 1948, the expulsion and ethnic cleansing of the Arab by Israeli occupation in Palestinian lands, more than 700,000 Palestinians displaced. Massacre in Deir Yassin village, Shabra Satilla refugee camp in September 1982, taking place in the Sabra Satilla refugee camp on the border of Palestine and Lebanon. At least 3,500 Palestinian refugees were killed within three days.
Therefore, it is not new for Israel to provide support to those who commit acts of violence that violate human rights. Because Israel itself is familiar with such events. And what the Myanmar soldiers do to the Rohingya Muslims today is not much different from Zionist Israel.
