aspacpalestine.com – Jakarta. Asia Pacific Community for Palestine together with KNRP, ACT, BSMI and Spirit of Aqsa formed the Indonesian Alliance to Defend al-Aqsa Mosque (AIMMA). One of AIMMA’s agenda is to hold an action with the headline “Indonesia Liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque”, Friday (21/7/2017). The “Indonesian Alliance to Defend al-Aqsa Mosque” is a support for the Palestinians who are currently in a situation of concern following the closure and attack by Israeli troops against worshippers performing prayer at the entrance of Al-Aqsa Mosque. In addition, the agenda also aims to normalize the conditions of the first Muslim qibla, particularly access to the Al-Aqsa mosque prior to the shooting incident.
The demonstration is scheduled to be held at Masjid Al-Azhar, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The activity began with Friday prayers in congregation at the mosque.
The action initiated by the AIMMA alliance will take place in mosques and court. The rally will be filled by tabligh akbar, oration, nasheed, theatrical and poetry. In addition, the rally will also convey a statement regarding the attitude of Indonesian Muslims about the condition of Al-Aqsa Mosque today.
