Palestine is a country with full of history of civilization struggles, both in the previous historical phase and modern history. No exception today, November 29 also bring back the memory of human history in Palestine. On November 29, 1947, the UN passed 181 resolution known as partition resolution. The resolution governs the division power over Palestine into two parts, Arab state (42.88%) and Jewish state (55%), with Jerusalem as a common territory. Efforts to divide the territories in Palestine occured in the last 10 years before its imposition on July 7, 1937, after 19 years of British occupation of Palestine. Britain takes steps to stop its mandate, and runs the project of dividing the territory. Because got the rejection at least twice from the Arab States, at the 1937 Arab Palestinian conference and the London conference 9-2 / 10/1946, Britain took other ways immediately to use the UN path. At the same time the Jews have also started lobbying maneuvers and pressure on the US as a veto-powered state. This power-sharing resolution became a very strategic resolution for Jewish 'official…
After the long-standing Israeli violations with the illegal settlement projects, followed by a snowball of the BDS movement, the UN finally began to act. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has warns 130 Israeli companies for violating two international laws and UN resolutions. More than 60 international companies have also been warned for their operations in occupied Palestinian territories and engaging in human rights abuses and taking advantage of illegal settlement projects. OHCHR threatened to fully publish their report in December if the companies do not stop its involvement in the Israeli Illegal settlement project in Palestine. We know that the BDS movement (boycott, divestment and sanction) has been going on for more than 10 years. The longer the movement grew, especially in Europe and North America. This year the movement began to show a greater effect. After years of moving at the lower levels, this issue goes to the statehood level. Denmark has withdrawn $50 billion of funds previously invested through insurance and pension funds to German companies involved in Israel's illegal settlement project in Palestine.…

Read the Geopolitics of the Arab World (1)

Since the Ottoman Empire collapsed on March 3, 1924, the Islamic world divided into small areas. The holder of world power at that time was the winner of the first world war that occurred from 1914 to 1918, they were Britain, France and Russia (Allies Block). They won the war against the Central Block which consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy, plus the Ottoman Empire. Germany lost much of its territory, while Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire scattered. Italy turned around and was on the side of the allies. Britain got the 'legacy' of most areas in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait and the Emirates. France got some parts of the North African region, including Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The colonized small areas then gained its independence (except Palestine) between 1953-1971. While Palestine, the colonization continued by Israel until now. After independence, the region established a nation state. Some formed Parliamentary Republic (Tunisia), Presidential Republic (Yemen), Semi-presidential Republic (Algeria, Palestine, Egypt, Syria), the Semi-Constitutional Monarchy (Morocco, Kuwait, Bahrain, Emirates), and Absolute Monarchy (Qatar, Saudi Arabia). Although different…

Salahuddin the Conqueror of Al-Quds

The conquest of Salahuddin in Al-Quds occurred on 2 October 1186 to coincide with 27 Rajab 583 H. In this context, the month of Rajab became the symbol of the month of Al-Quds conquest. The sign of the liberation of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque were captured strongly through Isra 'Mi'raj event of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH that took place on the same date, and the liberation of Al-Quds by Omar also took place in the same month. The conquest of Salahuddin was among the series of struggles that his predecessors had done. His predecessors contributed greatly to paving the way of victory. Built the inner bond of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque is among the major contributions of Salahuddin's predecessors. The pulpit that had been prepared by Nur al-Din Zanki, Salahuddin's predecessor became a symbol of the struggle for the conquest of al-Aqsa Mosque. The pulpit gave a strong message in the minds and thoughts of Muslims about the preparation and mandate of the conquest of al-Aqsa Mosque. Just as the message that understood by the Companions when the Prophet PBUH…

A Reconciliation that Brings Hope

In recent weeks, Palestinian media has been re-enacted with the agenda of negotiations between the two main Palestinian factions, Hamas and Fatah. This time the negotiation again mediated by the Egypt, which took place on Tuesday, (10/10/2017) by bringing together its both representatives in Cairo. Many sides have pessimism of this reconciliation effort, since it was not the first time for both factions. Indeed, after the dispute between the two largest factions in Palestine occurred, after the parliamentary elections in 2006, indirectly Palestine does not have a central government. The West Bank is dominated by Fatah, and Gaza Strip is predominantly by Hamas. Since then various reconciliation efforts have continued but ended up failing. The division happened because of the classical reasons, that is the rejection of Zionist Israel and its allies over the victory of Hamas in the Palestinian elections. With claims on behalf of the international world, Israel and its allies require Hamas to recognize its sovereignty and respect the Israeli-Palestinian accord. Terms that Hamas faction rejected at the time. From there it begins drama suppressing Hamas in…

Keep Fighting in Any Position

In the last two months, the author has noticed there has been a change of strategy in fighting for Palestine. Call it for example, Fatah movement that will be overwhelmed with administrative positions, because Hamas has stripped of all its positions in the Gaza Strip. As the author knows, Fatah is the largest part of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization). The PLO is the official assembly of the Palestinian government which is internationally recognized, led by Mahmoud Abbas. Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah some time ago went to the Gaza Strip and Cairo, to ensure that. Fatah is struggling with his diplomatic path. The author also heard news of a change of leadership of the political bureau within the Hamas movement, from Khaled Meshaal to Ismail Haneyya. Also announced the inclusion of Yahya Sinwar in the leadership of the movement established by Sheikh Ahmed Yasin. With this new leadership, how is the current reconciliation effort between the two movements, Hamas and Fatah? Hamas is currently struggling with a new leader. In the third week of this month also held meeting…

The unity of Hamas and Fatah

The reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas carried out by Egypt on Thursday, October 12, has raised the world's expectation that after a decade of fierce disputes between Palestinian factions could finally end. Surely by looking at it after many attempts of unification of Hamas and Fatah have been done and failed, this reconciliation must be deeply appreciated. We see that so much pressure happens to both sides. The reconciliation results of both parties only reached a partial agreement, addressing civil and administrative matters. The much more debated issues such as national elections, the reform of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the armed wing of Hamas status, are set aside for consideration at the next meeting in late November 2017. The agreements generated in this reconciliation are: 1. Rafah border security between Gaza and Egypt to be carried out by the Palestinian unity government in coordination with the EU Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM). 2. The administrative management in Gaza which is currently managed by Hamas will be handed over to the the Palestinian unity government on 1 December 2017, 3. The…

Historical Expedition in Kudus

In the history of Islamic da’wah in the archipelago, we know the term Wali Songo. Wali Songo (the Nine Saints)is the nine saints sent by the Ottoman Empire to the land of Java periodically. Started at 1404 until 1569 (15th-16th century), in six periods. Referral source of Islamic da'wah history in Indonesia is difficult to find because it is not in the country. Indonesia has been colonized by foreigners for centuries, so the people were fooled for generations. Several sources of stories about Wali Songo existed in Babad Tanah Jawi (a generic title for a large number of manuscripts written in Javanese language). It is said that this chronicle was composed by W. L. Olthof in Leiden, Netherlands in 1941. Besides the chronicle, the story of Wali Songo could also be obtained from ancient manuscripts located in the Turkish Palace Museum, Istanbul and Koprah Ferrara, Italy which is now stored in Leiden National Museum. Historically, the existence of Wali Songo indicates that Nusantara (Indonesia) has a close relationship with the Ottoman Turkish sultanate. One of the saint sent by Shaykh…
Israeli Zionist newspaper Haaretz said the cancellation of the African-Israeli summit, which was originally to be held in Togo (23-27 October 2017) based on the request of Togo's president Faure Gnassingbé. The newspaper attributed the decision to an internal crisis that in Togo, the work of the national opposition in Togo and also pressure from Arab nations and the Palestinian Authorities on the African countries to cancel the conference. Initially, the Israeli occupiers will use the summit to provide a trillion-dollar aid to African countries. Of course, nothing is free, in return they demand the recognition and normalization of Israeli relations. As previously known, on June 4, 2017 at the ECOWAS Africa-Israel Summit in Liberia, Netanyahu came and promised the grant. The plan, the fund is to build "green projects" developed by the West African countries incorporated in the ECOWAS (The Economic Community of West African States). The question is, where does the Zionist Israel have such funds? Allegedly this fund from the United States and the European Union. Sudan, which is known to be rough on the West is…

Zionist Israel traces in Rohingya conflict

In recent weeks, the world has been shocked by a wave of thousands Myanmar refugees. They are Rohingya Muslims who occupied Arakan region or Rakhine State, who are expelled due to prolonged conflict in the region. The European Rohingya Council (ERC) on August 28, 2017 released the report, about 2,000 to 3,000 Rohingyas were killed in an Arakan attack that occurred for three days. A massive exodus occurred. In Indonesia alone there are about 12,000 Rohingya refugees who still survive in Aceh, North Sumatra and other provinces. The conflict is synonymous with the SARA (ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group) issue, not only involving Myanmar's military junta but also the interference of Zionist Israel. This is based on the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz that said that the Israeli Defense Ministry is still desperate to sell its weaponry to Myanmar, which has been used by the military junta to conduct ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims. Among the arms and heavy equipment sold to Myanmar are 100 tanks and patrol boats for the border, as quoted by middleeasteye.net In September 2015, it was reported…
